Charlie, my DH, flew with a First Officer, Timmy, years ago and ended up renting a room in his apartment when they were both based in the same city. They were so close and had the best of times. They have remained friends all these years.

Five years ago, Timmy, was paying us a visit and bringing his girlfriend. She told us later she was so nervous because, even though Timmy had a biological older brother, Charlie was his real older brother.

So Timmy and girlfriend got married.

Two years ago, on my birthday, they had a baby boy. They named him Jack. That was my dad's name. But they didn't know that.

This week they had a baby boy. They named him Charlie. Yup, they named him after my Charlie.

I told them the next name is Evan (our son)! She says they are going for a girl. He says they are done.

I'm staying outta that one!
