Default Any plans for the 4th?

Hola!
Just wondering what you ladies have in store for the 4th? Me, well, dh is going to try to fly in (standby) Friday night b/c he has class during the day on the 4th. He will try to fly out on Sunday night.. and if push comes to shove, I will have to drive him back...

But, on the day of the 4th, probably bbq at my mom's... with my brother... but, sadly little brother just moved to NC so he will be sadly missed. I don't know what's gotten into me but I want to try to make one of those flag cakes with fruit... haha.. we'll see!

Then.. lots of fireworks... dh and son will be soo happy!

What about you girls?

I'll be visiting my brother and sister-in-law in Bethany Beach, DE. DH has to work (he has to do it sometime!).

Mine is flying too but he'll be home Saturday and then we leave for a weak at the beach. Yay...LOL.

The guy behind us shoots off a really good show over our pond, which is between our houses. So the kids and I will probably just watch his fireworks from the deck.

Nick is coming home late on Friday. His cousin from ATL is visiting so we're going to hand out with his family on Saturday and have a BBQ.

There's always a great fireworks show in PHL on the 4th, but it's wall-to-wall traffic so I'm not going near the city!

I know--I so miss living in Center City (that's what Philadelphians call downtown Philadelphia--for all of you non Philadelphians reading this and saying, "What???????")!

But, I love being on the train line to get there easily now that I don't live in Center City!!!!!!!

we're supposed to be going to visit Doug's family in Cali...but....we just found out that there's going to be a TON of open time which could mean some really serious $$$$$ because if it's "assigned", it means double the duckets... i guess DAL didn't plan so well for the holiday as a lot of pilots have this weekend off. DOH!

soooo....we're not sure what to do bout that. visit the inlaws later and get some mad money or visit the family now and wait for the next green bucket o' cash to come a knockin'.

ahhh the quandry.....

We're packed and ready to leave to our lake house in Kentucky. It's absolutely gorgeous there. We'll be doing lots of boating, wave running, water skiiing, tubing, fishing, and swimming. All of course if it doesn't rain!

DH gets off at 8 Friday, so we are going to a Festival on Saturday and there will be music and fireworks that night.
