| I was just sitting here thinking that I've really got a morning routine that I stick to almost every day. (Except when DH's home... then it's all screwed up. ) What about you guys? Do you follow the same pattern every morning? For me, I get up. Go downstairs. Open the sliding door to let the dog out. She then doesn't go down into the yard, but lays down in the sun... no matter how hot. I laugh at her rountiness. I grab some coffee, and sit down to the computer. Then it's news - email - and this website. EVERY DAY! What about you? |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | --Well Mon/Tues I am rudely awake by Kenzie licking my nose about 7am, I usually turn over and wake up at 830, take kenzie out, clean the kitten box, feed the cats (all 6!!!), feed kenzie, feed myself, drink about 8 cups of coffee, watch the today show, get on computer, and about 11 i start with normal household chores/errands/being a bum! --this is my normal schedule even when BF is home!

Get up go downstairs to start coffee and feed cats back upstairs for shower back downstairs for coffee bring coffee upstairs to drink while getting ready downstairs to pop on computer for a few, grab bag, head to work. at work, eat microwave-heated oatmeal and wait for archaic newspaper computer to start working. (Usually takes about 10 minutes!!!)

| I have an Annie alarm that wakes me up at 6:15am. Warm soft puppy dog fur, big "are you up yet, momma?" eyes and even a cold nose kiss! It is, hands down, the best way to face the work day. However the Annie alarm doesn't understand the meaning of WEEKENDS and is not so quite nice on Sat & Sun when the required getting up time isn't so early. After a few sweet puppy dog moments, it is rush rush rush to join all others in the rat race. |

| Mine starts every day M-F at 715am. Get up,,,go find each of our 4 dogs,,, give them each one on one love (they are normally still asleep in their beds). Grab something to drink (no coffee for me), shower, slather the belly and boobs with Origins ginger souflee, iron (as I watch the Today show with Matt and Meredith), hair and makeup, dress and out the door by 815am. Thats it,, every day, Mon- Fri. In that particular order.... |

| I'm up at about 6, start coffee, jump in the shower and get ready, check email while watching CNN. Never watch the today show. Then depending on what day of the week it is and whether or not hubby is home as to what I do next. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, my son goes to football practice at 8 AM sharp. Grumble grumble, so much for summer and sleeping in... ![]()

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | on days when I work at 7, I wake up at 6:24, go brush my teeth, splash some water on my face, pull my hair up, get dressed, grab my purse and leave by 6:45. I grab some starbucks once I'm actually at work. Then cruise the internet till I get bored and read my book. on days when I don't have to work till 3 pm, I sleep in until my body wakes up, then head over to the couch where i cruise the internet with the tv in the back ground (usually Sabrina the Teenage Witch reruns or Animal Cops) Make a big breakfast (usually waffles or eggs) around 11, then meander to the shower and run errands before heading to work. Sometimes throw a bike ride in there too... |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I won't really bore anyone w/ my details, as my routine is very flexible and each morning is different from the one's previous. Even my wake up time varies. Each morning will involve any of the following in no particular order: cereal, bathroom, shower (if not the night before), brush teeth, wash face, brush hair, chocolate carnation, english muffin, pack lunch, radio, maybe check email, find any number of things to do last minute to delay my going to work!!! ![]() I'm thoroughly impressed w/ those of you that have such a rigid morning routine. And I'm amazed at how quickly you can do it! Up and out the door in 20 minutes! I honestly don't do very much in the morning, but I like to take my time doing it. I don't like to feel rushed -- it just makes the rest of my day frenzied. Keep on wakin' up on the sunny side! ![]() |
