| We have freinds that before children we used to go out with all the time. After tehy had their child we stopped going out with them because they never controlled their child in a restaurant or store at all. She would throw these never ending tantrums and it was ridiculous. After my son was born I vowed to never let me child behave like that. There are times he has gotten fussy and I pack him up and have left. I actually asked on a mothers board a while back how other mom's felt abut obnoxious children in restaurants and was surprised by the response. It stemmed from a night my dh and I paid a babysitter so that we could go have a nice, quiet dinner and there was large family of like 6 kids under the age of 7 and they were running around screaming and throwing tantrums and I was frustereated. Here we were paying alot of money for a nice meal and quiet date it was hard to enjoy our date. Most of them pretty much said if you don't like the way my child is behaving, to bad, go home. I thought that was pretty wrong. |
