Default free samples

I was just on this free sample website, requesting some things to put in our guest bath to stock it up for visitors. There seem to be some good samples on there, so I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Totally Free Stuff

There are way too many pages on there for me to have visited. I've just started ordering some things off of it, so I can't "vouch" for the site yet. Try it and you can be a guinea pig with me.

Many links send you directly to manufacturer's or store's (like Target.com) website. Those are the only one's I've been ordering off of. Other's links send you to some random website that asks you for your email address before it will let you procede. Screw that!

Anyway, thought it might be useful for your guest baths, toiletry travel bags, stocking stuffers, etc.

I'd like to try it, but, I'm gonna wait and see how you do as guinea pig...my concern would be spammed via mail, email etc. let us know if you start getting tons of junk mail

Yeah, good call. That's the only bad part about this... the spam/ junk mail. Only a few of the samples made me give my email address, and for those I used my "junk email" address. I recommend one of these to all! Has saved lots of headaches over the years. BUT you're right on about the junk mail. Guess I'll hope for the best there and see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted -- in 4 to 6 weeks!

Oh and I forgot to mention...
This was one of the links from that website above:

Free USA Road Maps - Free Road Maps of USA and Canada

The page itself is pretty bland, but its feature is pretty cool. Click on any state on the map of the US, and it will link you to the state's government or tourism website to get a free road map of that state. (Like the ones you see in rest areas.) I chose a couple nearby states, and their pages also offered state biking maps, coastal maps, and scenic drives. I'm kind of dork on this one... I've always liked maps and charts a lot... so this may seem cooler to me than it will to you. Thought I'd share anyway.

Yes, please let me know if it works out, I've always been curious about offers like that, but always cautious because I don't think anything is completely free.

As madlibs said, everyone should have a "junk email" acct. I have one and that's the one I use for these types of offers. You do have to be careful of the sites you go to for free things though. I get most of my free stuff directly off of the companies website (like free Tide from the Tide website directly) or from the Walmart site (they used to have a section of free samples to send away for, I haven't seen it in a while though).

Coffeemate has a link of their site for a coupon for a free bottle. I've done it a couple of times already.

Yep, Bigsweetie. That's exactly what I was doing with that freebie website. I was only signing up for free samples either directly from the company that makes it, or from a store site like wal-mart or target. That particular site had links to both types (company & store) as well as a bunch of questionable sites. I skipped over the questionable ones ("ENTER YOUR EMAIL NOW! CLICK HERE FOR FREEBIES!" etc.) There are links to the wal-mart freebies, if you're interested!

I received my first set of maps a few days ago. Exactly what I'd ordered/ what was promised. I'll keep ya guys posted on the other stuff. So far NO spam in the email. woo hoo!
