| This picture was printed in the Tennessean today. There was no link for it on their website, so I called a friend at the paper and he emailed it to me. A little blurb was also ran in the USA Today in the Across the USA section. The caption under the photo in the paper says. . . "Farmer trades gas guzzlers for hay burners. Danny Raymond puts this matched pair of mare mules, Dolly and Molly, through their paces in a hayfield on the Gath community farm of his father, T.R. Raymond. The Raymonds have been using the team for tasks to save money on gas." Hats off to this guy for his step forward in consering gas. . . hum or is that a step back? Dang, just viewed the picture and it is tiny. So sorry can't make it any bigger. |

| I tried to look but it said it was forbidden. Google peak oil and you'll see lots of pretty scary scenarios for how our future looks

| We hit $4.19 a gallon here in Milwaukee today. Scares me!! I see how this could impact some people really dramatically. I really, really wonder what the future will hold. It is hard because I feel like we can't live our lives in constant worry for what will happen in the economy but I also feel so uncomfortable making any financial moves. We want to buy a house...we have a wedding coming up in less than 5 months....is it time to just play it really conservative financially?
