Default The fair

I took my kids to the Renaisance fair today in Franklin. It was a blast. We had so much fun. They really enjoyed the jousting and food. It was their first one. I loved looking at all the crafty things and the jewelry. I ate way too much though...

My favorite jewelry of all time is Renaissance fair jewelry. The fair itself is fun, too - I need to see if there's one in CT.

LOL. I'll give you some of mine... I didn't dress up, but I did look at several costume shops. I almost bought one. It was a deep purple velvet Julliete gown. Absolutely gorgeous...

And yes, I did eat a turkey leg...LOL. And funnel cake, and ice cream...LOL

God I LOVE those costumes...I think I was born way too late...but wait, no indoor plumbing, not dishwashers, no McDonalds.... Glad you and your kids had a good time.

A trip to the Renaissance Fair would not be complete without the eating of a turkey leg...lol.

I had so much fun when I went, but that was 14 years ago....gosh, I feel old! I threw an ax, ate a turkey leg, and loved the jousting. I need to go again.
