Default Shoes for work?

I got a part time job working for Applebee's and now I have to find black shoes that don't slide on any kind of surface. I also want them to be comfortable seeing as how I am going to be on my feet alot while I am working there.

Does any one have any suggestions?

I just really want something comfortable and not heavy if you know what I mean.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Walmart has them. I had to get that kind of shoes too when I waited tables and I got them at Walmart. There is a small little section within the shoe section that is non-slip, black shoes for servers and they are called TredSafe. They are actually pretty comfy too. I think they are about $25 for a pair. There are a few different styles too.

When I had to wear black shoes as a waitress, I found a pair of Easy Spirit sneakers at DSW Shoe Warehouse. I had Easy Spirit before that I did not care for, but these were comfy, light and not slippery.
