Default Re: oily face problem

Thanks! maybe a switch in moisturizer/sunblock will help!

I went to the dermatologist today and he said that oil production is a genetic thing...could be somewhat of a hormonal thing as well, but mostly genetic.

So, I'm switching over from the Tri-luma now that my hyperpigmentation is gone and moving to a Retin-A topical. apparently, they say it's great for wrinkles.. will help decrease pore size and has a couple other added benefits than acne...so i'll let ya'll know how that goes (if you're interested).

other things i found out...u can try to use tri-luma on your hands to get rid of age spots or other hyperpigmentation... it won't work on arms/legs...no way to really get rid of scarring except for laser resurfacing...laser hair removal will not work with anything BUT dark (!) hair... doesn't matter if it's colored or what not.. it's a specific "type" of hair. so i'll be looking into electrolysis for the chin area...there's no way to get rid of dark circles either

Actually I'm almost definite that they have new lasers that can work on light hair.
