Its not so much that she has a gut, just compared to what she did have, not to mention what she was wearing was not the most forgiving. I think Perez said MTV wanted her to wear a corset, which would have looked much better on her current body, but she thought it was not sexy enough.

exactly!!! I have 2 times the "beer" gut she does and i'm not ashamed, i'm pretty proud of it actually....

hell, still gotta be skin and bones to be considered "looking good" eh?! plus she's had 2 kids (not that that's really an excuse tho).

That is beyond disgusting.
But it's sad because I'm sure that model probably thinks she's fat.

I have a friend who's anorexic and bulimic and it's so sad to watch.
She's been fighting it for the past 15yrs and I'm worried about her.

I hear you fight that stuff your entire life.

so when i see/hear people pouncing on *not* obviously obese people (even people with small pouches of fat, like me, are considered "healthy" in my opinion), i cringe because of what society tells us to look/think/act.

I mean, it's obviously not the people(s) problem that they think that way, it's just the way all of us girls were brought up and trying to change that behavior is actually pretty darn hard.
