Kristie, A few more things for you: go to the lowes site and sign up for the home remodeling coupon. It is for 20 percent off your order. ALso sign up for the gardening club. THey send coupons once in awhile too. Home depot takes competitor's coupons, so you could take the coupons there if you would like. A lot of grocery stores take competitor's coupons too. So, for instance, winn dixie prints out coupons for 10.00 off your next 75.00 order. You can use this at publix. Another thing not to pay for...nail polish. If you color your hair at home, you should only have to pay about 3.00 a box. Make-up, such as the ones you find in the drug store should always have a coupon for it, combine it with a deal, and you should be able to get the make-up very cheap. caregivers marketplace is a site online that you send in your reciepts and they will send you a rebate check. You can be a caregiver to an adult or child. It has things like diaper rebates, adult incontinence products, some vitamins, etc. It is worth checking out sometime, if you are taking care of someone. Hope this helps

Ever since Regina posted about Hot Coupon World I've been a member there. It's my new passion!! Like she said, I don't pay for toothpaste, deodorant (or if I do, very little), most cleaning supplies I get dirt cheap (less than $1), I have stockpiles galore of free soap, Excedrin, Tylenol, shave gel. It does take a lot of time and energy though, and you need to live close to the places you coupon. I'm only a beginner, but i'm saving about 50-60% on my grocery bill (sometimes more). Also, there's a lot of coupons out there for junkfood, but if you're savvy you can find great deals on the things you'd normally buy anyway (toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.). It does take dedication, but once you see your first grocery bill and see how much you've saved, you'll be hooked and you'll be like a junkie looking for the next score LOL!

Jo, Hotcoupon world is more of a forum that will tell you where to find the deals. They have one forum for baby things that you may want to scroll through when you have the time. For printable coupons, I usually go to smartsource.com, buy a sunday paper, sign up for deals to be sent to me (like proctor and gamble, walmart has a place on their site that you can sign up for free samples, kraft's website, etc.), do a quick google search for the product I am looking for (for instance, if I was looking for huggies, I would type in huggies diaper coupon. Sometimes, I would type in huggies printable coupon), or if you have a really good deal (like the razor deals) you could buy them at couponclippers or e-bay. I try not to buy them though, unless they are really good combined with a really good deal. What kind of coupons are you looking for?

No, I don't use coupon mom. The best way to save on groceries is to wait for deals, combine with coupons, and use any competitor's coupons. You probably have the same grocery stores that we do? I would buy meat and such at winn dixie, only when it is bogo or a big sale. I like my fruits and veggies from Publix. If you like steamfresh veggies, they can be bought with a deal and coupons at publix for about 27-37 cents a bag. Fresh fruit and veggies typically have good sales there, and sign up for their clubs online, and they send coupons in the mail. Bread outlets are good places to buy bread, if there is one convenient to you and not out of the way. I like Publix bread from the bakery though, and you do pay the price for the bakery bread....so much more expensive. My thing is:save on diapers, cleaning supplies, beauty supplies, and basics, BUT don't sacrifice good food in groceries. If you eat well, it will certainly save in doc visits down the road. All my kids eat salmon. 4 of my kids eat salad, coleslaw, carrots, celery, etc. as a snack. Oh, and if you have a prescription to fill, always look for and have a prescription coupon in your purse, for the just in case times. That is like a free 25.00 to a store. Oh, and for your little one: I love to have a library of books for my kids. As treats sometimes, we go to goodwill or a local habitat for humanity type store, and sometimes you can find brand new books for about a quarter or 50 cents. These are the same board books that you would find at a bookstore for about 8 or 10 dollars. Sometimes, we don't find anything. Sometimes, we find so many that we have to put some back. It is always hit or miss. Our library has a bookstore that they sell old books that no one is checking out anymore or books that people have donated and they can't use. Some of the best learning type books are the old ones that they don't publish anymore. : ) Oh, and clothing, after you find out what works for you, I love Marshalls, TJ Max, Ross, etc. They have brands like polo, nautica, osh kosh, carters, etc. I also like target, and believe it or not, some of walmart's kids clothing have become better quality and really cute. If i am looking for a srasburg dress for the girls, I look on e-bay first.

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Sheesh, I'd take the 110 degrees WITHOUT the humidity! Just a smidge humid here and I'm dying, I grew up in that dry heat so that I can handle!
