| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Ok, so I keep tossing around the idea of cutting my hair pretty short, and I was always worried about how it would look with my round face. The other day John and I were out getting a pizza and the girl at Papa John's had a cool short haircut and a round face, and now i'm really tempted to get the haircut. Here's some pictures for reference (we asked her if we could! haha) edit: ok, I can't get the pics to embed, so they're attached (see below) and here's a picture of me for reference (no that's not John, so don't tell him i have pics with other guys ) ![]() I'm pretty tempted to do it, because if I end up hating it, I can wear a hat all winter while it grows out, but I'm also really scared to do something that drastic, but at the same time, I kind of want a change (but am scared! haha) John thinks it'll look good on me...what do you guys think? |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I say go for it! I got mine cut kinda like Posh spice and my face is kinda round, and I love it. If you are really worried just get it longer in the front, thats where you really notice if it will make your face look big. You can always go shorter, and it will grow back if you don't like it.

| Wow...that certainly is a change from your current do....I don't know, it seems so drastic....I had my hair so short and it took such a long time to grow out....my husband said he would never let me cut my hair again; the growing out stage just looks awful. |

| Go for it! I had my hair quite long for a looong time and a few weeks ago (in the midst of one of those life change things) I had it "chopped" an inch or two shorter than yours. (Pretty short for me!) I LOVE it! This probably sounds dumb, but it feels great to do something risky and fresh with my hair. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | It's kind of punky for my taste, I really love your hair, it's got just enough wave and I think it's fun because it can look casual or sophisticated. I'm not really into the style you showed, but it's also hard to say because hair looks different on everyone, and seriously, who cares what I think anyway? LOL. So I do what you want and you will still be my sugar buns. |

| I think it would look good! You can make slight variations, too, like leave a LITTLE bit more length in the back w/some razoring so it sticks out from your head (I had really, really short hair for a while). Her hair looks like it doesn't take much management, either, which can be a pain with short hair...all that time styling it. Ugh. do it! Like you said, you can wear a hat if you hate it. Plus, it's just HAIR. Have fun!

I keep thinking I might do it, just for fun and see what happens. I always say that I'm wanting to do something different and well, here's the chance! New boobs, new hair - no one will recognize me!! haha and, it is just hair, why not do it and see what happens! Who knows, I might really like it. PS Michelle, I love you! ![]() | |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | I just don't see that style working for you cuz she has a more oval face than you do...just a smidge more and you have those lovely cheeks that make your head more pear shaped than round which might not work well with such a short haircut. (i'd ask pam over on JC - she used to be a cosmotoligist). altho it might work with your lighter color and if you get a few blonde streaks in there?! the good thing is that it'll always grow back, it just takes a heck of a long time to do it! ![]() how do you like that for a non-answer?! hahaha
