Default Arrrgggg! Sprint Phone Service



So on Tuesday we changed our cell service from Verizon to Sprint to take advantage of the corporate discount given though XJ. It has been a complete NIGHTMARE! At this point, Aaron has spend no less than 8 hours in store/on the phone with them. With no end in sight.

We managed to get my number ported and working after 12 hours, but here it is Thursday and his number STILL doesn't work. For a while he could call out but not receive, on a completely different number. Did I mention he's on reserve and needs to be reachable at all times? Now, he can receive calls on that same random number, but they seem to have altogether "lost" his number, that he's had as his primary for over 6 years now and they aren't sure when/if they will ever get it back to him. And he still has no voicemail/text messaging on his phone.

Calling customer service or visiting a store seems to be no help, but we can't come up with a number of a manager or someone higher to help us or to complain to. We are both furious AND helpless at this point!

I've not heard good things about Sprint. We've stayed with Verizon, even though DL has a discount with Sprint too. Once you get off the east coast, Sprint's call quality (signal & availability) really starts to suck.

Perhaps a strongly worded letter addressed to Sprint's corp headquarters may help? Have you been able to speak to a store manager? If you have and they haven't done anything to help you, ask for the name & phone number of a regional manager.

I have not heard good things about Sprint either.

I say, just go back to Verizon....

I had Sprint for two years. There customer service is AWFUL!!!! Is it too late to cancel???

We had sprint probably 5 or 6 years ago and they were just horrid....i waited for the day our agreement was done.

I do hear a lot of negativity about sprint, but i'll be honest, i have never had an issue with them. i've been with sprint for about 5 yrs and for me, nothing major ever occurs. but really try the letter, or talking with the manager on duty, i've handled issues for my sister and when they told us that we would never be able to get a new phone, i talked with them and next thing you know, there is a phone being sent...i don't know, i guess you just have to have the right customer rep that day! but good luck, keep at it, and make sure you keep names...
