maybe what your really craving is a "stomach coater" or something that will coat your stomach really good! ice cream seems to do that really well because it's always so creamy cuz i bet if you substituted italian ices or ice "milk" type ice cream, it wouldn't have the same effect.....

what types of things will *coat* the stomach? pepto bismol....2% milk...creamy pasta's....hmmmm what else!?

things like broccoli, carrots, zucchini fill the stomach but they don't "coat"...balsamic vinagrette might be a good coater (altho you have to eat greens with it which is also good for baby). hmmmmm

no.. not necessarily health food.. but i have heard that if you eat some dark chocolate everyday (just like a glass of red wine), it's good for you! something about the dark cocoa beans....

now.. that doesn't mean "eat a ton"... i think it's more like eat 1 piece... haha

plus I only eat the vanilla bean ice cream and vanilla is a natural stomach calmer. I can some times get yogart down, and really runny oatmeal. but ohhh the ice cream tasts so good!

I'm not much of a chocolate person, hubby is. But when I have this urge to eat a candy bar, not just fine chocolate, it is a SNICKERS! Yumola!
I think the baby really enjoys watermelon though. Ahh, it's so nice and cold and sweet. Perfect at 2 or 3 in the morning whe I am thirsty and hungry. I can just go to the fridge and grab a few cubes of it, and we're good!
