it's almost that time of year.. where weather gets soooo icky, it's just better to stay inside...

so, whatcha all been doing?

my car's been in the shop all week getting the key crap taken off (being painted). been driving around a rented Saturn Aura and it's actually a pretty nice car!! I'm starting to look at the type of car i want to buy but it's still pretty overwhelming..sooo much info to learn/know all over again..i'm not sure whether horsepower or liters are more important anymore! HA!

other than that, i'm in training at work (since i have NO work to do)...so i'm learning inroads this week which is a design tool that goes with our drafting capabilities with autocad and microstation. so far, it's pretty neat and will definitely help make me a better designer....

other than that, been overly tired - still trying to get back into my normal mode after going on a trip... surprised that it's taking me more than 2 days to get some real sleep and not fall asleep at work. haha

so....what's up ya'll???

my back is hearding like hell and I´ve just started..I´m not even in the middle! I just don´t understand how the hell we ( read I) had gather so many stuff! ( we´ve been living in really small apartment and are moving to the larger one much closer to the office and airport..the views are just incredible...we are on last floor..with huge terrace...)...so beside working full time, I´m cleaning the new place...packing --moving--...´right now I´m tired..and my pilot...is flying!
shit shit..and I thought that the apartment hunting was difficult...well well.....

We've had 7 weeks (total) of people visiting us this summer.
My best friend and her daughter (from Denmark) stayed with us for 3 weeks, my parents came up from Florida for 2 weeks and my DH's family came here for 1 week.

In our spare time we've been finishing our basement. We can't wait until it's finished. It will be so wonderful to finally be done -- we're hoping for Christmas time.

The kid's have been swimming in the neighborhood pools and been playing with their friends.

School starts in 17 days!!!! Yipppppeeeee

I have been playing with my puppy, working around the house, and making a concerted effort to work out regularly. A friend and I have tried to go swimming twice, but it didn't work out either time. I really want to this summer, though, since I haven't in 2 years.

Well... we've sold two homes, one in AZ and one in NC, and have recently moved into our new home on 3.1 acres in SC. So "I" have been unpacking with four kids under foot. (School starts in 3 weeks). I have learned a little about living in the country. DSL isn't available where we live, which absolutely sucks and there are tons of VERY interesting bugs, spiders and oh yeah snakes. I found a 5' long black snake coiled on the top of our front porch light. Isn't that wonderful...snakes CAN climb. (Didn't know that!)

Because we have been dealing with yet another move we are thinking of taking a quick trip to the beach before the kids return to school. Also, I did send in my application and video submission to Survivor. The odds are slim as I am sure there are thousands of people that sent something in...but atleast I can say I tried- we'll see what happens. (Although I am not holding my breath )

oh goodness...well...we are the process of remoldeling our old little house...we are laying tile down, and that has taken a lifetime for them to do(it was WAY too expensive to have someone do such a small area in our kitchen, so a friend is doing it, but he can only come out on the weekend) so for the entire summer, i have had the linoleum pulled up, and NO FLOOR...it is driving me insane...i have my siblings coming into Charlotte in a couple of days, and they will be staying with us, it really is a madhose...i'm back at school and have papers/tests/studying coming out all over the place...i really am going to lose it!!?!?!?

Aside from the ranting, I'm overaly excited for my brother and sister to be here...i haven't seen them since march (which is a long time for all of us)!!

I'm sorry for my lack of posting! I've been kinda busy... both at work and home. My bf has been home some on the weekends, and we actually had a "robe day" last Sunday! Ahh, much needed. Watching lots of movies. Things are getting back to blissful with us. Lots of disrupted schedules because of summertime flight cancellations, so jumping between area airports. Apart from that, just busy at work, trying to do some major reorganizing in the apartment, and we have some "housepests" staying with us tonight and tomorrow. Tomorrow is B's family reunion, and Sunday marks the 2 year anniversary of my dad's death. My mom is coming over on Sunday (after her spa treatment that I bought her for her birthday LAST YEAR), but I don't think that she even realizes the significance of the date for me. Also trying not to get at the moment. I've felt sick on and off for the last week, but I keep taking airborne and have been trying to stay healthy. Last night I felt like crap, but today I felt halfway decent.

Just registered for fall classes... I'll be taking 11 credits in addition to working full time, so I doubt I'll have much time for anything when school starts!!!

So... anyone seen any good movies lately???

Also, Ian's off in OH doing AirNet training, and for fun I've slowly turned my schedule into a 1/2 night schedule (bed at 3am, up at 11am) to see what it's like to live at night. Still getting used to it. Also finally started book #2! Woohoo! (Actually, that's what I'm supposed to be doing right now...)
