Friends letting you down - Page 2

Just wanted to let you know that the party was a success! Despite four more people cancelling on the morning of the party (due to sickness, a much better excuse!). The sun shone, the food and drink flowed, and my husband got back in time! And it was rather romantic, too.

As for the friend in question - she texted me on the day wishing us happy anniversary. I haven't replied.
