I just had to comment on this Paris Hilton thing... it is utterly bonkers! She was carried screaming from the courtroom?? Oi. I had no respect, is it possible to have negative respect for someone?

What is my generation coming to?!?

I would have liked to seen her in jail her full sentence, I heard she has to wear an ankle braclet for 90 days

LOL yeah... BUT! she got dragged back to court today and the judge told her she had to serve the whole sentence! And she went ape... oi.

I love it I think she is getting what she deserved, just lke if she was a normal person! Undisclosed medical condition is crap. I have never heard of any normal person being released from jail for something like that. They have medical facilities in jail for a reason. I wish she would serve the whole 40 something days, but I guess she will only be serving about 18 more days (i just read an article on yahoo about it, im not really THAT involved). I'm just glad the judge is sticking to it and making her act like a normal person.

I agree. When she was out after 3 I thought it was just another example of what money can get you. I love that the judge is putting his foot down and making her do it. DUIs are stupid, stupid, stupid. Its not like she is short on cash and couldn't hire a ride.

EXACTLY! hello, i'm sure someone out there would pay to go and pick up paris...i think this whole thing is utterly ridiculous...this generation, the media, and all fans have seriously lost it...no way would i ever...drinking while driving, come on, there are MANY people out there who have been repremanded for such behavior...she is just like every other human on this freakin planet, all she has is a name and money...what has she done for this country/her family/society...take the name and money and all you have is a 'pretty' girl...another point, i'm just sickened with media right now, it is NOT necessary to fill the media waves with such trash...i could have lived my entire lifetime, without knowing that "poor paris hilton" had to go to jail...THAT really aggrevates me...

i'm glad the judge put his foot down... people with money need to stop getting away with things scott free..if they do the crime, they oughta do the time!

Well, wait a minute. I am still confused on the whole thing? Do normal people really go to jail for 45 days for driving on a suspended license? I think she needs to pay her dues, but I think it may be a little out of control at this point. Maybe I'm missing something...

I think the girl is horribly spoiled and horribly neurotic to a degree that disables her from functioning in the "real" world. She probably WAS about to break down in jail.

She's probably a prime example of the idle rich. Poor girl has nothing to do BUT seek attention - that's her job.

(Did you notice how when the media focused on her in a negative light, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan suddenly became something of importance to her? I never heard her mention it - at least not publicly - when she was getting excessive positive press. Twit.)

Her license was suspended because of a DUI.

As far as I'm concerned, a suspended license for a DUI is LIGHT. A DUI should result in automatic jail time.
