DH's airline has that policy. That's why he was off from April 25th to May 20th! He had one week's vacation in the middle.

When he flew elsewhere, that was the policy too! But, I don't know if it still exists since he hasn't been there since 2001.

I know CAL used to have that before PBS, but you didn't get paid for the dropped trips.

Sorry to hijack the thread!

Bill went back to work today. The boys went fishing yesterday while I worked in my garden. Today, Billy and I did some errands, went to my parent's for dinner and went swimming in the neighbor's pool. the weather was great.

DAL has that policy.. also a policy of being able to...whatcha call it...close off a 48 hr window before or after any one vacation period.

I went to the meet and greet in Chicago.. it was quite a success!! next weekend.. home alone!

I know most places drop the trips that touch vacation but you only get paid min guarantee. At XJT if you are awarded a line that pays 87 hours and have vacation, you will actually get paid the 87 hours and still get all time off as well.
