Type in two cites and it'll show you all of the nonstops from every airline, and even build connections for ya![/quote:01a0e400fd]

I know my DH would LOVE that! He pends hours each night before he leaves coming up with all the possiblities to bet from TUL to BIL - and every conceivable stop in between! LOL! Can't wait to see it working!

Thanks Doug. Charlie would never do a two leg commute! He'd change bases first. So right now it's just a choice between US Airways and NWA. Of course things are looking more and more bleak on the US Airways horizon. He tries to avoid them because they are ususally cancelled or late (and they only have RJ's on the route now making availablity less likely).

Thanks,

It appears to be great for getting the schedules. But I'm not so sure about the prices right now.

The part that is strange is that when I typed in PHL to DTW, it gave me choices. Then it also offered options out of other airports in the region. For fun, I clicked on ACY. It says the only option is Delta for $175 one way along with other Delta options and says the least expensive NK flight is $348 one way via FLL. Go on the NK website and the non-stop ACY to DTW is available at $86.

I tried the same thing with car rentals. I am going to Freeport, ME by way of MHT on Sat and got a rental car for the weekend for $45. The same company was $98 on this site.

[quote:df0a5b36ef="Barbara"]Has anyone ever "house-swapped" before? There's a website where you have to register & pay a small fee (I guess that's supposed to help weed out the weirdos) and find another family (or individual) who lives in the country/area you want to travel to who happens to be traveling to your area at the same time. You swap houses & even swap cars, and use their house/car in their country. My dh would probably be too nervous (ie: suspicious, pessimistic) to want to do it, but I think it's a great idea, and would really cut down on the hotel/car expense.[/quote:df0a5b36ef]I've heard about that too.. but I myself would be suspicious as well AND I haven't heard of two pilot families being able to "plan" on vacations simultaneously... that would take either some vacation time or some serious scheduling!

thanks for the info!
We also use: orbitz , hotwire & priceline.com

We usually get 50-75% off hotels and cars.

orbitz is pretty good and i like expedia.com but on a personal note, i don't like hotwire or priceline too much - for the cost, i'd rather dictate my own schedule cuz i value time a little more than $$!just IMO

but with nonrevcentral - your saving money and supporting people you know (hint: *us*, it's one of our money makers)! whas better than that?! hahahaha (gotta plug the site ya know?!)
