| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I should let Kristie describe them since she knows Smarties... but they are like M & Ms but A LOT better. If you let them sit in your mouth for a short time the smooth silky chocolate melts and then you can break the shell with your teet and/or tongue. The shell is a little thicker than an M & M and has a nice taste to it. So they aren't like Smarties (sweet tarts) in the US. A |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | yes, the smarties we get here are kinda like candy sweet/sours that you hand out during halloween the euro smarties are similar to M&M's where it's chocolate with a candy shell..except the candy shell is harder and the chocolate is a lot more creamier (melt in your mouth type).. so it's a lot of fun to eat them.

| Oh those smarties are so addictive...so are sweet tarts. But one problem...they make your tongue hurt if you have too many. *Hahaha* and yes I have done that before. ![]() |

| I'm a journalist, and the UK is under a massive terror threat at the moment - as you all probably know - plus, of course, we have a new Prime Minister - so I'm busier than ever. And my husbands away on a trip for a week. Boooo hooooo! ![]() |

| I don't have my next three weeks planned out (without my Dh) and having trouble even doing the easiest of tasks like Grocery shop because its just not the same buying for just you and cooking isn't fun without someone to cook for. First time in my life I have no plans for 4th of July....worst ![]() |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | It's not necessarily a "sucks to be me" but it's close enough... what sucks is that i don't see or find hardly any support from my husband for the things that "I" want to do. support meaning words of encouragement, patience, overall emotional support.. I don't need him to "solve it for me", i need some support that says he believes in my dreams just as much as i believed in his as he was going up thru the ranks...It takes a lot for us to stop our dreams so our men can reach theirs and now, i'm feeling like i should have never done that and i think i'm learning that hard lesson now. as I listen to everyone else saying how much they support their husbands, well, what about us?! when do we ever see the support for the things we want to do? like today... i got the "i don't want to hear about it anymore" and it's most likely because i'm still more talk at the moment than "do" (in regards to making my own business, getting out of engring), but geez, didn't he take years to make his dream a reality? i can't just make it in a fort-night...it's gonna take me time and yes, sometimes other things get in the way (like supporting HIM and/or other family members who are in a pickle). granted, i know that what i have to do, i have to do "on my own" but does that mean i shouldn't receive any of the same type of support that i've given all these years? like this week, i was SUPER pleased with myself for getting the website back up and running (the full jetgirls.net website) simply because it was one of my tasks to do before the end of summer so i could let it fly and not have to worry about it while dealing with the other tasks...so i told him about it and got nothing in return but something like "hey, that's good".... i have a plan of attack, i'm slowly attacking each task as i go and yes, it takes time so show me some fricken respect and support my ass, don't solve it. All he talks about is his next trips, the next cities Delta's going to open up... etc etc...It's great that he always brings me back things but i have a feeling he thinks that bringing me back things that i ask for is "my support" or talking about the next trip we're gonna take is "for me, for my support"....but really, i think it's time for ME now, to reach my full potential and make dreams into reality. /end rant

| I don't have anything to add to the topic but I just wanted to say... I didn't know Smarties weren't sold in the US? They're available in Canada if you're located anywhere near the border.... which is a bit of a shorter hop than to Europe (The chocolate filled ones with a candy coating) Unless they're different than the ones in Europe, then disregard this ![]() |
