I HATE incompetence.....you give people the tools they need to do the job, you TELL them they MUST use these tools and then they go and don't even use the gawddamn tools.. thereby making you redo work because it's not to spec... If ADOT wants their menus used, they have a darn good reason for gravy's sake...now i have to do all over again and it's going to cost me time and money.

because of someone else's incompetence and not using the tools i told them to use, i might have to work this weekend.

A completely unrelated flight gets canceled causing a chain effect that ruins our carefully laid plans.

A flight from ERW to JAX was canceled yesterday which led to the the JAX-IAH flight being canceled last night. Which meant todays JAS-IAH flight was way oversold and DH and Kidzilla didn't get on. They have to take a later flight which means they will miss their connection in IAH and have a 5 hour layover. THEN, in OAK instead of being able to do a quick drop off and turn around DH is going to have a 4 hour layover waiting for the red-eye to bring him back. The end result is that instead of arriving back at 10:30pm tonight, he won't be home until 10:30am tomorrow. The exact time of his appointment with the AME to get his 6 month medical exam. And the next available appointment isn't for another 7 days! Which is 7 days later than when he is supposed to submit proof to the chief pilot that he had done it. AARRRGGGHHHH!

Maybe he should come see the good Dr. here in Phoenix, we always try and keep 1-2 appointments available for same day next day appointments.
You wouldn't imagine how many calls we get that ask us if they can be seen "like right now".

But of course that is all we do "flight physicals", we cater to pilots and their medical needs.

"sorry had to put a plug in for my office

Also we fax over the medicals to operations for our guys, if we have the fax number we are more than happy to do it for ya

Smile Re: I hate it when....

When all the neighbors seem to mow at the same time. I have been listening to lawn mowers for HOURS!! During nap time, of course. I am sick of lawn mower noise. The neighbor next door is OCD about her lawn, mows 3-4 times a week. Another neighbor put it best,"She makes love to her lawn." She is done mowing, edging, blowing, and now she is using the spreader. I have a lawn service, they are in and out in 20 minutes...

When a sort-of job offer ends up being something well beyond your level of experience/expertise, so you have to turn it down.

Now dh, who commutes will have to get 4 hotels in ATL cause they added day trips to fillin slots. I am so mad, I am shaking! UGHHHHHHH
