Eric and I try to keep essentials including canned goods, etc. in the basement in case of a tornado.

We actually lived in Allandale (the little "suburb" of Port Orange lol) on Riverside Dr. We had this ugly little white rental house (it was shaped like a square igloo!) amongst all these nice older houses. We loved it and it was an easy commute to NSB for DH and I worked in Daytona. When were you there?

We used to rollerblade all around the park there in Port Orange. It was great!

I never heard of Allandale! Is it south of Dunlawton? We lived there from August 1993-March 1996. Bill decided he wanted to finally finish college. I lived in the area for 4 years previously when I went to ERAU. We used to watch the fireworks there then walk across the field to get home! I loved it there and was not happy about moving!

DH was there from '85-99. He was at Riddle and then worked for Vintage Props and Jets out of NSB until he got on w/ Piedmont in '99. I was there from '97-99. I'm not really sure what Allandale is. But if you were to turn right on Riverside Dr. where Aunt Catfish's is and go down that road, that's partly Allandale. It was a great street! Sunrises in the morning were gorgeous!

We went back last summer when DH was furloughed from ATA. He worked for VP&J again. DS's and I went down for two weeks and had a blast! I don't miss the Daytona stuff but little NSB was great. I climbed the Ponce Inlet lighthouse for the first time. What a view! Ah, going down memory lane is making me a little homesick for our house on Riverside!
