| Yeah!!! The kids are absolutely excited. Having just moved from Wisconsin to the CLT area, the kids were going through snow withdrawls. I am so glad that they were able to experience some snowfall this winter. It is hilarious how this city shuts down with just the threat of snow fall. I went out last night to get a gallon of milk and you would have thought that the world was coming to an end with last minute shoppers trying to stock up before the snow storm hit. What storm? We've had maybe 4 inches and everything from doctors offices to schools are shut down. Boy in Wisconsin the kids still attended school with temps at -40 (with the windchill) and yes more than 4 inches of snow. |

| Jetgirls Member | Oh yeah, us Southerners FREAK at any kind winter weather threat! One reason, is b/c we stand such a huge chance of getting more ice than anything else. Ice storms get to be a pain! My two year old had never seen snow fall so he was able to see it this morning! He was fascinated (sp?)!

| That is so cute about your 2 year old. My kids have seen a lot of snow over the last two years - but you wouldn't have known that by the way they were acting this morning. Honestly you would have thought that this was their first time ever witnessing a snowfall. Like I said before, the kids were going through snow withdrawls. |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | and.. did you join in? i think that would just be a ton of fun! i suppose there is a time when boys can outdo the entire house, cardboard boxes and all... i mean, what do you do with them once they've exhausted all resources? I feel for the families in florida tho...everyone's insurance there has already skyrocketed this year because of the storms/hurricanes last year.. i can't imagine what will happen to everyone's insurance numbers next year. probably a lot of selling going on (i know my dad will be trying to sell his house in riverview simply because paying $9K in taxes and $2K in insurance just isn't worth it.) sorry, didn't mean to switch the subject.
