| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | I have a 2001 Honda Civic. DH has a '98(I think, it may be '97) Chevy Suburban. My parents gave us the suburban as a wedding present, it had been theirs. The gas mileage is killing him, but he hasn't decided to get anything new yet. He wants to get something with better mileage. |

| Jetgirls Member | As if I have a options for transportation... I (shock) drive a minivan... a Dodge Grand Caravan, with the all important drop down video screen. Beyond that, garden variety minivan. I teased my friend (dealer) that sold it to me that it needed to come standard with an AYSO sticker on the back. |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I drive a nice reliable 2005 Honda Civic Special Edition (charcoal gray) and Nick has a 2000? (can't remember) Ford Explorer (a real nice dark blue gray metallic). Pretty boring. We're both not into cars- we just want reliability. Of course every time Nick sees Kristie and Doug's BMW he says how nice it looks! |

| DH and I both said that we would NEVER get a minivan. Then......3 kids later......I'm driving a Chrysler Town & Country. The twins were 2 weeks old and we went out to get that minivan. It was a tight squeeze in the back seat of a Subaru with 3 carseats! But now we like all the conveniences of a minivan. We've taken the back and middle seats out before and gotten a couch back there! |

| I have four kids, what would your guess be??- Yes I drive a mini-van. I own a 2005 Kia Sedona (silver) and aboslutey love it. In fact this is my second Kia Sedona, my first Sedona, a 2004 was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle. Amazingly my four kids and I walked away from the accident injury free. (What do you know... DH was on the start of a 4 day trip when this happened- another story.). Head on collision and 5 of us injury free- of course we went out and bought another Kia Sedona. |

| I drive a '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Car is great, except my battery terminals and wires are terribly corroded. <-- TaDa! The cause for the self-reliant thread. |

![]() I wouldn't mind getting one of the new 2007 X5's because there's some really nice added features AND i would be able to get sirius in it (as long as we don't get anything with self-suspension yuck!)...but, i'm thinking i don't really need an SUV that much anymore, it might be cheaper just to get a standard sedan (Audi, Volvo, european made/put together) or something.
