Default Crocs

Does anyone wear these shoes? I think they are so ugly, but they seem like they are comfortable. When I was having my colonoscopy done, the nurse was wearing them and said they were the best shoes she ever had. I wear Birkenstocks and Teva sandals in the summer, which are not really that attractive, but so comfortable. Any thoughts on the Crocs?

they're so ugly, i won't even try them on! hahaha

you'd think they'd totally be a fashion faux pa

I'm a doc marten girl...yeah, they're not the prettiest for women shoes but they do wear very nicely and last a long time!!

Funny you should bring this up...my daughters have begged for these shoes and I would not buy them because I think they are gardening shoes and they should stay IN THE GARDEN! Well, they went shopping with my mom one day and they all came home with a pair of them! Now they are the only shoes my girls want to wear to church, to school, you name it and we argue about whether they are appropriate to wear on that particular day for that particular situation.

We have teachers at my school that wear them, they have them in every color. Yes, I am sure they are comfortable, but they make already "tired teacher outfits" look even more ridiculous!

I'm all for comfort, but those things just seem FUGLY!

Give me a pair of ballet flats if I need comfortable shoes, or athletic shoes if the outfit is appropriate.

I agree, UGLY! I've heard a report of a few instances where kids were wearing them on escalators and running their feet against side, as kids do, and the friction melts the shoes and has caused injury. Plus their ugly. LOL. I agree, not for church, church isn't the beach.

My 7 year old daughter saved her own money to buy a pair of these ugly shoes and claims to be very comfortable. I guess they have grown on me a bit because they do look cute on her. That must be it- they look cute on little girl size 10 feet, but on adults they just look goofy.

Yes, I will agree that little itty bitty crocs are OK on kids.
No adult crocs!

It seems like the only adults I have ever seen wearing them are nurses. They have a slightly different model that is not quite so clunky looking, I was actually considering but I have no idea what I would wear them with, because they are still ugly! I have very high arches and could never wear ballet flats. I have to have good arch support or else I will be in pain! Some of the kids wear them to karate, so they don't have to do the whole sneaker thing. I'm sure I would never be able to get them on Billy, even if they were more convenient!.

Does anyone remember "duck" shoes? I remember them being populare for a short time in high school and had to them. They were so ugly too and the only people that wore them throughout highs school were the ultra preppies!
