I don't know what you had in mind but I thought something like this was kind of "fresh" but not over the top frilly http://www.themesbase.com/?view=258 (Click on the one that says "girl talk". I'm just bored so if I come across anything else I'll point it out but I'm really just trying to entertain myself so feel free to ignore my posts lol.

As one of the few non-wife/girlfriends here I have to admit that I didn't sign up for the site the first few times I stopped by because I thought the site was mainly for pilot wives and discussions about family issues.

It wasn't until I looked around for a bit that I realized it was a forum of supportive ladies who just happen to be (mostly) pilot wives and girlfriends. Of course if I'd taken the time to really look around the first few times, y'all could've helped me through the interview/hiring/IOE process! And while I don't participate in the family-themed threads (I'm single without two-legged kids), I really do enjoy the site and it has been a great help to me.

Best friend Will is convinced he'll never find someone to put up with his crazy life but then I tell him about this place and all you wonderful women and he perks up a bit...so thanks from both of us!

how can he say that when he has you????

honestly, a true best friend is the person you *want* to marry..and there's no truer friend than you from what i can tell...heck, who else would do research like this for their best friend? I don't think i would (to be honest)...
