| Thank you everyone!! I used to like my birthday on Christmas when I was little. Everyone made a big deal about it and I got extra presents but now seems like most people forget. So thanks my online family of friends!! ![]() I just now got a chance to get online. We have no internet connection at home since we just moved into our new house this weekend. I will be pretty disconnected for the next week until ours is all set up. But I will hopefully be more of a presence around here once things settle down. Hope everyone's holidays were GREAT !!!

| Happy birthday and congrats on moving in to the new house! My sister just had her baby on Christmas Eve, so we just had many conversations about having birthdays on the holidays. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the holiday birthday experience! Felicia |

| Thanks !! Actually, I was born on the first white Christmas in the history of El Paso TX. It was a blizzard that night. I weighed only 1 lb 14 oz, as my mom was due to have me Feb 14th. I was premie- and with 2 holes in my heart. MDs said I would be possibly blind, deaf, and maybe never walk. I stayed in the hospital for 2 months, and was very sickly as an infant. At the age of 2 I was flown to Houston to close the holes in my heart. MD's spent 4 hours trying to locate the holes prior to surgery. They flew in other specialists and low and behold the holes were gone. The cardiologist stated with tears streaming down his cheeks that it was medically impossible for holes of that size to close spontaneously. My parents took me home and except for a small murmer as a child, I have been healthy ever since. I have run 4 half marathons and 1 full marathon as an adult. So I grew up feeling somewhat blessed.
