Mainland China

Anyone in Mainland China? Although it doesn't seem likely, thought I'd throw this out there! I'm in Shandong Province, on the East coast, pretty much due West of South Korea. I've been here just over 3 years.

Actually, hoping to make my escape soon. The DH is looking for something new, hopefully in Asia or the ME. If anyone knows of any airlines hiring A320 FOs - let me know!!

i'm here in china too. my dh flies for shenzhen airlines. we've been here since may. we live in shenzhen- in southeast china. right across the border from hong kong.

Just to update this thread... I am in the process of relocating from Linyi to Beijing. My husband was just hired by BAA, a business aviation company. He will be flying the Lear 60XR - his first jet job! We're so happy and excited. The company has bases in Shanghai and Shenzhen as well so there is the possibility of transferring there in the future. Business aviation in China is set to boom so we're glad we put in those 5 years here struggling in the flight training industry.

If anyone is in Beijing or will be visiting, drop me an email or private message! I do not currently have a job - I'm what they call a "trailing spouse" - so I will be available for coffee or a little tour guiding. (I'll be available at end of May 2010 - gotta get settled into our apartment first!)
