But that's pretty much the way it is everywhere.
I have heard that as well!!

OK, as of 3 PM yesterday when DH's cousin spoke with him, he had not received it. It must have arrived after that. Cous, however, is still waiting for his pidgeon to arrive! Again, he's probably passing so he's not all that worried.

A couple points. He needs to contact Larry Deist, who is the furlough coordinator or at least his "sponsor" or at least check on the DALPA forum as Troy recieved his days ago.

He still needs to indicate if he's going to bypass furlough or not because if the letter isn't responded to, it starts a "timer" of sorts when he's no longer eligible for return.

If he doesn't want his job back, yup, no worries, but if he does he needs to get on the ball.

You know what they say, you're not a real pilot unless you've been furloughed at least once!

Yes, he knows all this and is working on it--thanks though. He's been at SWA for a few years now and is quite happy. So, he's not anxious to move right now. But he wants to keep his options open.

But the big question that Kristie could not answer, is at which beach in NJ will you be settling in for a crash pad? Us Jersey shore folks want to know! Oh, and in NJ, it's the shore, not the beach. In NY it's the beach, not the shore!
