December bids for ASA came out today

and DH managed to get christmas off and new years eve off....... how nice it that??? Granted he had to bid naps,, but it's ok with him and definately me! woo-hoo!! Who else will have dh home?

DH is home Xmas night but is in San Juan on New Years. Hmmmm.

DH has to work xmas this year. Last year he didn't, but he conviently got his wisdom teeth out 3 days before xmas

The worst part is that I screwed up with the trip trade for December. I thought it was Tuesday night and I realized at 9:30 on Monday night that it was Monday night. DH was on a trip and I had told him all month long it was on Tuesday night....opps. I still feel so bad about it. We knew we wouldn't be able to get xmas off but we really wanted to drop a 3 day at the end of the month (I have that week off so he wanted to spend it with me). Of course, coverage was not good by the time I tried to drop it. He was mad, but got over it. I still feel bad about it!

The good thing is we were able to trade and get him a trip that has a 40 layover in White Plains, NY. He will get in at 8:20 on the 23rd and not have to leave until Xmas day afternoon. So he is renting a car and going to drive to NH for xmas eve. It will be about a 3 hr drive but it will get him home by midnight on the 23rd and he won't have to leave until 9am on the 25th. It is better then nothing, and he is happy about it

He doesn't have to work New Years Eve yet, but we won't know about New Years Day until the January bids some out (early December).

Yup..BF starts a trip mid Dec and doesn't get home until 27th...good for me then that I'm not at his home and will be flying out on the 24th for when he arrives in on 25th..we will spend until early am 27th together. He gets his new roster on 26th Dec...so we are not risking my flying to be with him for NY Eve
