| Admin/Owner ![]() | sounds fairly similar to the pilots.. only the pilots have the option of vetoing... any idea on the accident leave works? doesn't workers comp take care of that? at least they get 0.05 more per diem than the pilots! hahahhaha but man, what a raw deal - esp because they make less than the pilots on a duty hour basis! hey Amber, can F/A's fly more hours than pilots? is that how they're able to "make it" on such low pay scales?

| F/As have no restrictions on monthly hours per the FAA. The most I ever flew in a month was 113. Once. Never again. It was awful. Really, there's not a whole lot in the FARs that restrict us duty-wise. Our contracts were generally written to give us the same protection as the pilots, but this was contractual, not legal. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Yup. We are officially in the middle of this mess now. DH has worked at Mesaba through all of college. I've already learned to not expect him home for holidays, or to be able to visit me just because I want him to. Well now that we are married and sharing an apartment and costs we are having to make some serious choices on spending...not sure how much longer Mesaba will stay afloat. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Today the NWA pilots approved the concessionary TA: 5040 eligable to vote 4028 voted 2563 approved the TA (63.6%) 1465 voted against the TA (36.4%) I had posted the rates, etc a while ago. This TA means that Delta will be looking for the same--which is what they are proposing now. |
