| Jetgirls Member | Hey everyone! Need your input! DH are ready to swich cell phone plans. We have Sprint now but we don't like it b/c we have tons of dropped calls, we lose signals all the time, and sometimes we get msg's days later then when they were left. Since we are all in the same profession and travel so much what companies have worked best for you? Thanks!

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | We have Sprint too.....we have better coverage at our house on the lake then our condo in the city! But DH's company gets a good discount so that is who we have stuck with....I hear your complaint though: tons of dropped calls and coverage is not very good. Sorry I don't have any experience with other companies, I just wanted to complain about Sprint too ![]() Robyn |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | We have Verizon and get a pretty good airline rate with them. There were a few times when we would get a dropped call or 2, but they've made some changes. I'm not sure if all companies have the radar function available to them, but Eric absolutely feels much better having it at his fingertips instead of having to lug one more pice of electronics with him or running inside to chk the weather.

| I replied earlier but it didn't post! We have Verizon. DH has the national plan and I am added on with my phone for $20. It works well--even from the Islands and Mexico. |

| Verizon for us. It was rated best by Consumer Reports, no cell providers were really GREAT, it said, but Verizon was the best of what was available. We've had a handful of dropped calls, but all-in-all we've been very happy. We switched from AT&T wireless about a year ago. |

| We have Sprint too. We have had them for quite a while and their service really seems to have improved. We had alot of the same problems you are having We get the XJT discount (25%off). We looked into changing and it just wasn't worth it. You can always call the automated line and get a .50 credit for any dropped call. (or really whenever you want!) It is annoying, but you can at least get a few bucks dropped from your bill. In the long run, we looked into getting rid of them cause we hate them, but it just wasn't worth it. Hopefully the coverage will continue to improve in your area. Jan |

| in my opinion, cell phones have become an absolute necessity in life these days and the cell phone companies can use this to their advantage. i used to have verizon and they ended up trying to screw me in the end when my contract was up. i thought their coverage and service were okay and i originally thought their customer service was great but not so much anymore. we have sprint now and a lot of people we know have complaints about their customer service. luckily somehowe we have managed to not have too much trouble. all in all, i don't think i can say there is any cell phone company out there that i'm crazy about. good luck. just wanted to add to the cell phone vent. sorry it wasn't all that helpful. coverage wise, i thought verizon and sprint were pretty even, but it depends on where you live.

| Admin/Owner ![]() | We've been using T-mobile for a while now - they get great coverage everywhere so far (even europe) and we've had little to no dropped calls... we did have some problems with billing in the beginning, but once you get that squared away, it's no problem. Altho lately, we have been having problems with receiving late messages or late picture messages - seems they're slacking a bit in that area. but so far, we still really like them. I had sprint well before T-mobile and always had problems with dropped calls, no coverage and bad CS

| WE have Verizon. I've had several different carriers and Verizon is my favorite by far; in prices, customer service, support, plans, and coverage. |
