Default Tired regional pilots

Nick forwarded this to me. It aired on a TV station in TX. It shows
how great (HA!) Mesa is and how tired the pilots are.

Click on 'tired pilots' on the right side after clicking the link
below.

If the link doesn't work then paste the entire thing below in your browser.

This makes me sick

I don't understand why Mesa has such trouble going about things in a way that makes sense. Is it crew trackings fault? Is it just bad organization in general? I mean, wtf? My husband works for Freedom, and his schedule is AWFUL, and to top it off, they lost all the bids for this month - just in time for Thanksgiving!

Its really sad whats going on in this industry right now. I mean, these guys have paid out the ass for training, flight school, certificates, and now they're making pennies and sleeping on a damn plane. Its sickening.

Well Mesa is bad--I can tell you that, but pilots for many regionals are also sleep deprived (they did a previous newscast on another regional).

Their crew trackers are temps I believe so they really don't know much or care about what they do. I'm not an expert so I don't want to say any more about "what I've heard". I've read about some stuff on the website that is quite interesting too. Mesa's pilots are getting fed up, that's for sure!

THANK GOD! Someone FINALLY did a story about this situation. It's about time the general public knew what was going on. I wish Dateline or Good Morning America would do this kind of story.
