After the first bankruptcy they lost their symbol "U". So they are now "AAA".

It's a classic case of the MEC eating their young. It's gonna implode.

[/ QUOTE ] I take it they already know this is going to happen and can't do anything about it - or won't?

Single letters are very coveted apparently!

Ahhh. I knew you were talking about U but never heard anything about the change. I remember ions ago when I was sitting in the jumpseat of a U plane and both pilots were former Piedmont and there was a plane on the ramp with the last 2 letters 9??VJ and the captain said to the f/o that VJ was the symbol for bankruptcy and they laughed about it.I don't know why I just thought of that or felt the need to share..but oh well!

Jan

P.S. How I miss those days and oh the stories I could tell!

Sorry Roz, I was thinking you were going back to the DOH thing for the pilots and I knew that we had discussed that was not the case, before.
Yeah Kristie, that would be a pretty site, some of the old sky hags in calendars.
A few weeks ago, maybe months ago, DH comes home and tells me he had his pic taken with 2 FAs. I was a little ticked and he played it off like they were some hotties. He gets a copy of the pic in his mailbox, I will have to share it. The women look in their 60s! I was laughing so hard.
