In several different areas I've seen people ask advice about how to stay connected to your SO when they are gone. I'm lucky. My husband calls - a lot. Usually 2 or 3 times a day. Even if it is just to say "hi" and not much else. One thing that is fun that I have been doing lately is tracking him on Flightaware.com (it's free). You can track a flight by tail # or flight number and it shows you exactly where they are. Just one more way to feel connected. My kids love to see where dad is and how soon he will be home. Check it out.

I did that for a few years, then stopped cause he was all over the place. And now with Emily, I just don't have time. But that really is a nice site to have. I used to use www.trackaflight.com also. It DID freak me out once though, I was tracking him through a big storm and he just fell off the radar. I was panicked for the next hour or two til I got a call from him (after my panicked messages on his VM) LOL!

Brian has his laptop with him everywhere and we both have webcams. Its great for Chloe to see her daddy when he's gone for weeks at a time!
