Ok,,, here's a money question for you ladies,,,,,,

DH had day 2 of a four day trip scheduled today, two of the three legs scheduled got cancelled,,,,, does he get paid for the cancelled legs? Does it work differently since he's on reserve? I understand the 75 hour minimum pay gurantee, but what if he exceeds the 75, but with the cancelled legs it falls below, does he still get paid? Did I just totally make no sense or what? I think he gets paid for what he flies; or 75 hours; whichever is more.

Depends on their contract. My DH get paid for any cancelled flight during their pairing as long as at least one of the leg is flown. If for example my DH was on reserve it would not matter. If his block time ws less than min pay guarantee (75 hours) he would just be paid the 75 hours but if it was over that he would get paid for the day that was cancelled as well. Thank goodness their new contract will be paid leg by leg starting in May. So even if they cancel say a roundtrip yet he has a 1.5 hour taxi time on a couple flight he will still get paid the original pairing value plus the ot for the long taxi time. It all depends on his contract. Hope that made sense.
