Chicago Express Furlough?

Recently heard (from Jetcareers) that Chicago Express is going to be furloughing... does anyone have the numbers on that and when that'll be happening? do we have any Chicago Express families on the site?

Well, they're ATA, so it's not a surprise--it was in the bankruptcy plan as published. It's unfortunate and my feelings are with those impacted.

ATA family here! [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] DH possibly furloughed in the Spring if not much sooner. Numbers and rumors seem to change daily. Will try to get some hard stuff and post for you.

Rumors.

Believe it when you see it in writing or when it's parked on the ramp. Rumors run rampant in this industry.

I sincerely hope your dh doesn't get furloughed. BTDT myself. Twice.

Oh I'm well aware of the rumors and how "reliable" they are. I just meant that the numbers that are being thrown out are indicating Spring or so. I pretty much wait until something actually happens before I start to panic! [img]images/graemlins/curse.gif[/img] <---Meanwhile, this pretty sums up my feelings for the industry right now!

He's on the 737 and wants to get a 757 type. That would help too.
