i'm doing the same thing! no flu shot for me... didn't need one last year, don't need one this year! I'm healthy enuff that i can fend it off and considering I got this cold now, it's only going to boost my immune system for winter time.

I typically get ill when doug brings stuff home from work, but he's been really healthy for years now and maybe gets sick once a year at the most, so i'm not all that worried about it!

I am thinking of bringing a mask with me on the airplanes (cuz i'll be flying a lot more this winter) to protect me from the other sicko's on the plane!

My Inlaws were telling me about some caplet you can take, its called clean air, fresh air, pure air...something like that, I'll have to ask them. But a woman that flies often came up with the little concoction and supposedly it helps ward off all of the germies flying around the airplanes and other croweded areas in the winter.

I'll get back to you on the name of it!

I sent my FIL an email, I'll let you know when I hear back from him. He is a complete hypochondriac, and buys into all of these "wonder drugs" so this may be absolutely nothing, too!

I'll let you know!

Last year we had an initial panic and then the season was relatively mild. Let's hope for a repeat!

I'm thinking people wash their hands more, bundle themselves up more and take more precautions this time of year - esp when there's a scarcity of vaccine.. so I'm hoping too that people will continue to keep it up and we'll have a mild scarring!

luckily, we don't get the flu too much here in AZ, mostly cuz the weather is still warm thru the winter...
