AMR recalling pilots?

I've heard thru the grapevine that AMR (American) is going to start recalling pilots. From what i've heard, they have over 400 flowbacks and will be recalling about 10/month...figuring 1 in 4-6 will come back.. i bet it'll be even worse than that... my bet is 1 in 6-10 will go back.

Anyone heard anything else about this?

That's about all I've heard (from Zach, who heard from friends of his that are still at Eagle).

It'll be interesting to see how many go back. In any case, it should create some movement at Eagle, which would be good.

yeah, from what i hear... eagle has no movement??

I can't really remember, but I think there's around a 7 year upgrade at Eagle right now. Not much upward movement....

that's what i've heard...they're having a tough time getting pilots to come into training after the interview simply because there is practically no upswing...that sucks for eagle!! but maybe with AMR's recall, the eagle guys will start moving IF AMR gives some preference to Eagle's pilots....but that could still be another year or two away depending on how fast AMR's pilots are recalled...

my bet is that many have moved on by now and probably won't come back. After seeing where the industry has gone and how corporate treats its employees, i dunno if i'd go back if i were a pilot either....

If anything, I'm sure the flowbacks will go back to AA.
