| Admin/Owner ![]() | Word on the street (via doug) is that all of the furloughs have been recalled (only 1 in 8 came back).... that could be good news for those looking to move up!! but make sure those resumes are updated and squeaky clean because there's no doubt that DAL will get bazillions when they start looking to hire again. Fingers crossed...

| Eric heard from a "seasoned' pilot that Delta's gonna be the place to be. He said that their restructuring (or whatever they call it) looks very promising. Now if my DH can only get about another 5-10,000 hours in time LOL! |

| So I wonder if Delta will give preferential hiring to ASA pilots once all of our airplanes are transferred to Skywest? Actually, that wouldn't be a bad thing...my husband would make more there than he ever would here! Our 70 seaters (EV tail number) supposedly are being sent over to SLC to be renumbered (SW tail number) one at a time. I believe one has already been transferred. In fact, the first displacement bid has been issued for November. About 10 70seater capts will be downgraded to 50seat capts, with no news yet of any "new" aircraft deliveries. Attrition is about 15 per month; split between capts and fo's. All this because the ASA pilots don't want to fly 70 seaters for 50 seat pay. The saga continues....

| Admin/Owner ![]() | I have no idea if they'll give preferencial treatment to anyone... my bet is they'll take the highest time guys first with no preference to any particular regional or airline background. Heck, if/when DAL starts hiring... they'll be a feeding frenzy and i bet anyone with even a scratch on their resume will be tossed (for a while at least)... then again, it all depends on what pay scale DAL wants to bring the new hires into...it'll still be a scramble for the best pilot/highest time, no doubt.... as soon as we hear anything else, I'll let everyone know. I really don't think it'll be too far from now.. they continue to call backwards for reserve pilots and are losing 767/777 ER pilots everyday.. doug thinks he has a great chance of being awarded the ER bid this month. if anything, it'll be awarded by the end of the year we think...
