I saw that. This morning on the news a reporter showed how she was able to take someone's bag (she got their permission) and then return and take someone else's bag (she also had their permission). This was at LGA. Then they had a reporter do the same thing at Burbank. When we went to St. Maarten this year, Air France and Thomas Cook deposited full Airbus 340's along with incoming flights from a number of other carriers all at the same time. It took two hours to get through immigration. Well, when we got to our bags, they were just sitting off to the side of the claim area. That's why, if I'm checking bags, I always carry anything valuable plus a full change of clothes in my carryon!

Wow! Screw them! I hope that they have to reimburse the airlines! Maybe more of our husbands would have jobs if airlines weren't paying out so much in lost baggage fees!
