The restaurant thing drives me insane. IF there is some type of emergency then I understand, but there is no way that people NEED to be on the phone all the time. IT is just distrubing to others. If you are talking fo outside.
/end rant

The only thing that really bothers me with the way people use cell phones is their inability to talk quietly on them.

I keep my voice relatively low when I use my cell phone and I don't think I disturb others. I don't talk on the phone when ordering, I don't talk on the phone when with other people, I keep my ringer on vibrate so it's not obnoxious when it goes off.

But yeah, I use my cell phone all the time and I'm not ashamed of it. I love my cell phone, I paid a pretty penny for it, and I'm gonna use it!

But I am considerate of others around me and don't use it when not appropriate.

It's the people who feel the need to talk loudly while on their cell phones that are the problem. A regular, normal speaking voice is all that's needed for the other person to hear the speaker.

The days of the analog YELLING phones are in the past! Now, if people would just figure that out!
