Default Does anyone know..

So the bf got his new flight case a few weeks ago, and he talks about union stickers he sees on some other pilot's cases, but doesn't know where to get them (he's a rebel at heart). Does anyone know?

Hubby got union stickers and luggage hang tags from the union in the mail several months after he started. (No union rep actually went and talked to his training class. He had to call them and ask his questions. Pretty shabby.)

When I used to work in the Flight Ops dept, the union reps would occasionally drop the stickers in the pilots' V-files. He should find out who is a rep and send them an e-mail.

I saw one on our last flight that I liked, it said something to the effect of "trust me in the air, then trust me at the gate" meaning the secruity checkpoint. I am pretty sure I messed that up really bad, but you know what I mean.

The latest one's he got was almost 2 years ago and was a tribute to 9/11 and they came in the mail from ALPA. Pretty nice looking sticker. Before that, I think he got them from his reps.

That's a good one!

My boyfriend has been writing to a Senator about getting an express express lane for pilots. It seems like writing them isn't just going into a black hole, he just got a response last week that the Senator is going to forward his letter to someone. (sorry about the vagueness of this post, I'm doing this from memory...)

That is really cool. I think I will see about chasing one of those down for hubby. He would love it.

That sounds like the CrewPass NOW sticker that we got with a recent issue of Airline Magazine (the ALPA magazine). It's on our refridgerator since the flight case is stowed in the closet.

I agree, any union rep should have plenty of swag to give out.
