United Furlough?

Did anyone hear that United furloughed 300 pilots?

I'll have heard is rumors that United would furlough 500 (or maybe it was 300) pilots in the fall once they cut back service after the summer. Has United made the pilot furloughs official?

My DH heard from a 'reliable source' last night that the number is 950 - likely to start in the autumn once the summer rush is over.

I have heard that also! We have a lot of friends that will be affected! It just STINKS!
