Default Lines and schedules for other airlines

Hello! I've been wondering how the lines look like for other airlines and how they progress from regionals to major carriers, domestically and internationally -mostly the days on/ off and how long it takes to get one of those awesome lines with lots of days off. I know the industry isn't doing that great and there might be some stagnation at the moment..
Casey is on CA reserve now with Express Jet and his schedule has 11-12 days off - 6 on, 3 off or 5-4 on, 2 off. It's not that great, but I guess it could be worse.
Thank you!
