ALPA events typically are.

I'm surprised they didn't have any spouses (altho some might have been there and I can't tell). They're involved in this too!

Was this his first time at an ALPA event like this?

Spouses and family were invited to Battery Park, but not to picket. They wanted only the pilots in their full uniforms.

It was the first time since getting hired at CAL.
He attended a rally while with Mesa.

Thanks for posting this- Nick showed me a few days ago but forgot to email me the link. We found him 4 times in the video! There are 2 'still' shots with him holding a round sign. Biy he makes my heart flutter- he looks damn good with the hat and uniform! He's flying to Houston to march there too.
BTW, the Delta pilot gave a really great speech that I saw/heard in another video- he got everyone cheering!
