| Jetgirls Member | As irritating as super slow people in the security line can be, I feel that air travel is really only a hassle if you let it be a hassle. I show up with plenty of time to spare, I wear my slip on shoes, I chat with people in the line, and I buy some Starbucks while I'm waiting for my flight. It's all very chill. It's only when you let yourself get stressed and freaked out that it becomes a hassle.

| I have heard about what Kristi posted a few years ago, but haven't ever seen anything move on it. I fwould love it. T flies better than most adults do, and the great thing about flying with kids is that he gets away saying the stuff I would love too... Can't tell you how many times in the line he has pointed out someone with thier shoes on to me, and then suddenly dazy-head mazy px, hops to it and starts taking off shoes and coats and putting them in the bins. No one likes it when a child know more about the rules than they do!

| They already have this in several airports. Denver just got it a few weeks ago. I think about a year (or so) ago, it started up in one, or all, of the NY airports, IAD and several other's.

| Hubby just told me on the phone that they now have the Expert, Beginner and Family/Special Needs lines in Boston. He was pretty frustrated by them because they made all the crew go through the Special Needs line. He said they waited behind wheelchairs (because they couldn't get around them to cut) for 20 mins while the Expert line had no one in it. He was not a happy camper! ![]() |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I know in Providence, they have two lanes. One that is for the normal customer and the second is for the crew. The normal one branches off into about 4 serpate lines. But Jason likes how he can just breeze by when he goes to work. |

| I read those articles too. My first question was, what about us with expert children? U know when u travel alot, when a 3 yr old child knows how to stand on one of those floor mats with the feet. Our 3 yr old did exactly that, placed his feet properly and held out his arms with palms down, without being told how. He had been through that drill before. In Oslo we also have 2 different security areas for crew members and employees of the airport to go through. They have now added a new shoe machine. We no longer have to take off our shoes before going through the metal detectors. If it peeps when we go through we just go to the new machine place our foot with shoe on it to see if it ok. Not sure when they do the extra body search yet. They have also been allowed to use their brains as well, not that they necessarily do. |

I think it'll be worth it once ALL airports have it, and maybe if they have a FlyClear-only screening line. Sometimes the wait after the boarding pass check is longer than the line before it!
