Like Robyn said, it was on the XJT crackpipe. But I believe the info originally came from an ALPA blastmail. What a tragedy for his family.

I think I read on the crackpipe that it was a massive heart attack, but I didn't read anything about the youngest having down's...??? Maybe I missed that. They established a donation fund through paypal for the boys. How much should a typical donation be...??? I think it said about 10 for captains, but I think we can afford more than that. So, I am sure everyone gives what they can, but any suggestions on an appropriate amount would be appreciated.

Regina- I had read on the crackpipe thread that his son that was born 2 days before he died was diagnosed with downs.

As for donating....I'm not sure what is appropriate, that depends on each person and each situation. I would say donate with your family can afford if you would like to make a donation.

It has been suggested in tragedies-past (and XJT has seen a few) that we donate our on-time bonuses. Donate what you can, every little bit helps.
