Spirit DTW base closing - Page 2

Aw, Tanya, that's sweet--not at all necessary. He would like to meet up with him, however. His "layovers" are such as: Sunday he rides the jumpseat and gets in at 5:30 PM. Monday morning he has a 6:30 AM show. He does it again on the 13th and the 21st. Those are all he has. He was supposed to be based out of ACY for Sept, but, with this, they yanked it.

So the numbers DH got today were that, out of 220 or 222 based there, 147 live in base. That means that on any given day about 20 will be trying to commute between DTW and FLL or the reverse.

I'm so glad we're not part of the 147, but feel for those that are.
