SWA and Denver???

Hello all!

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about a possible SWA base being opened in DEN? Is this just a rumor or are they really thinking about it??? I have been looking everywhere for more information on this and haven't been able to find anything. Thought I would see if anyone else here has heard anything!

I haven't heard anything about it, but I have been wondering for months why there isn't a base here with all the flights they do out of here (and all the flights they are adding). I keep wondering if they will open a base. Would be awesome if they did....maybe DH would apply w/ them later down the road.

I haven't heard anything about Denver. DH did say they mentioned a few new bases, but I'm not sure which ones they said....but it was all a "who knows" thing during his interview. I know the new Las Vegas base is openning in October.

DH will be home in an hour, I'll ask him if he heard anything about Denver......

Edit: DH said when he interviewed the 2 base rumors were Tampa and Nashville. He hasn't heard anything about Denver. He said he would be surprised if they did since Frontier is huge there.

Oh boy... I think that I have a lot to do with this rumor- I'll have to ask DB about it in the next couple of days when we talk. It would be huge for me if it were true, but alas, these things don't seem to fall into place in the aviation industry!
